CLIENT TESTIMONIALS

It's no small exaggeration to say Tucker changed my life. When we first started training 8 years ago around the time I finished Million Dollar Listing, I was a skinny kid who had never played a sport or touched a weight in his life. Today, I can deadlift over 300 pounds and have the 6-pack abs I've always wanted.

To have made the transformation I did wouldn't have been possible without Tucker's methodical, comprehensive approach to training and his meticulous attention to detail.

There are plenty of great trainers in LA. But there are few who can take someone who's starting at the ground floor and get them to the movie star body they always wanted. Tucker's ability to do that - and overcome every obstacle that comes along the way, whether it's old injuries, lack of flexibility, or just being really uncoordinated - is what makes him one of LA's top trainers.

Tucker changed the way I work out.  Pretty much immediately.  It's been 7 years now and I remain hooked on my time with Tucker. I have always been in relatively good shape but when I had a back injury and a friend recommended Tucker, I had no idea the amount of knowledge he would impart on me.  Tucker's knowledge of the body rivals the best doctors I've been to.  We go over my goals and then he designs a work out that will help me not only with the way I look, but in the specific functions I need my body to perform at a high level.  Even after my son was born, we worked on exercises that prepared me for specific movements and strains that my body would incur and two years into that experience I find myself grateful for those work outs.  I always have a great time with Tucker and really value the amount of attention I get.

Tucker is hands down one of the best trainers out there. I have a lot of chronic joint issues which have led to instability and pain. Working with Tucker changed my life and my body and my whole approach to fitness. I never thought I'd be a person who enjoyed working out because I could never trust my body. But Tucker helped teach me how to strengthen the muscles around my joints to protect them and how to increase mobility and decrease strain and pain. Our sessions were a combination of strength building and physical therapy. If there was ever an issue that came up that he was unsure of or not familiar with, he would research it like nobody's business and next thing I'd know he'd be going for some certification to focus on that issue. He is so dedicated to his clients and extremely talented. I will be forever grateful.

Tucker is the best personal trainer that I have worked with.

His attention to detail, clear explanation and focus on the correct form and function is exactly what I needed when dealing with a lower back issue that was causing discomfort in the activities that I enjoy.

After the first couple of sessions I immediately noticed a difference in my strength, flexibility and range of motion. My core strength improved dramatically and as a result my lower back discomfort that I had been dealing with for years totally subsided.

Tucker has changed the way that I workout and the way that I think about exercise from home. I'll continue to consult with him in the future and can't recommend him highly enough to anyone out there who is looking to address some injuries and get stronger.

I came to Tucker struggling with plantar fasciitis. I was looking to get back to running and wanted to make sure I was strengthening properly in order to avoid pain and further injury. I was skeptical Tucker could help, but he's a different kind of trainer and 3 years later, the results speak for themselves. Not only is my heel pain completely gone, but Tucker has really taught me how things are connected and given me the tools I need to stay healthy. Plus, I've lost weight and am in better shape than I've ever been. Tucker knows his stuff and he's a stickler for form. It's not about how much weight or how many reps, but doing the right exercises for you and doing them correctly (over and over and over again). It truly is personal training. If you're looking to get in shape the right way and keep your body healthy in the long term, Tucker is your guy.

I started training with Tucker when I was looking for someone to come train me at home after the gyms closed because of Covid. I had worked with a number of trainers over the years and had gotten pretty good results, but I was blown away by my sessions with Tucker. They're the best workout sessions I've ever had despite not having any of the fancy equipment I'm used to at Equinox.

The workouts (done in my garage) consist primarily of kettlebells, bodyweight movements, and gymnastic rings. I feel better than I have in years and I look forward to our sessions every week. Honestly, with the added time saved with him coming to do in home sessions with me, I doubt I'll go back to the gym even when they do open up.

If you've got a garage, backyard, or workout studio, give Tucker a call. He's the best.

I started training with Tucker seven years ago on the advice of a friend. Having worked with number of trainers over the years and seen minimal results, I was skeptical. But Tucker totally exceeded my expectations. Not only did I rapidly lose weight and build muscle, but I learned how to exercise like someone who'd been training their whole life. That's the thing about working with Tucker. He doesn't train around problems, chase fads, or take the easy way out. He does things the right way, and as a result his clients continue seeing great results year after year. If you've got the means, give him a call. You definitely won't regret it.

For the first time in years I am pain free thanks to Tucker. I had been dealing with knee pain (meniscus surgery, tendon tears, priformis pain/ tightness). I had been to physical therapists as well as strength training and stretch classes to help remedy my issues, but it was really not helping much. I had a friend mention Tucker, a personal trainer who is experienced in rehabilitation and immediately Tucker was able to identify my issues....that I had instability in my hips and the muscles surrounding my knee (which had lead to pain/ injury in the past). He put me on a 1 hour plan, 3x a week which was really focused on only a few muscle groups. A few stretches, some foam/ lacrosse ball rolling to loosen up tight muscles, and then strength training to focus on the muscles that were not pulling their weight. Once I could successfully do those reps, every couple weeks or so, we move on to something more challenging.

He is so focused on FORM which is incredible.  My experience of physical therapy and training in the past has been that they throw a whole bunch of stuff at you and expect you to do it, but don't necessarily break down your form or what muscle groups you should be engaging as you do it or even how you should be incorporating your breath -- Tucker does all that and it sets him apart from others.

When I first went looking for a trainer, it wasn't because I wanted to know where my hip flexors are or what a perfect squat looks like. I just wanted to look good. Enter Tucker Forbes, the best trainer of all time.

The thing to know about Tucker is that he's not one of those trainers that will run you around the gym for an hour and you'll huff and puff and you might FEEL like you worked out but you never actually learn anything or get any actual results. Tucker teaches form and technique better than any trainer you'll ever find. He's beyond smart and caters your workout to get the results you want/need. He's setting you up for success so you'll know how to properly train for life.

Tucker is also nice. And funny. And professional. He's very easy to hate really. And you may want to quit at times. But then you will get out of the shower and catch a glimpse of yourself and say 'hey, I look better!' And you won't quit at all because holy cow, Tucker works. I guess if you are reading this, it's because you are thinking of working with Tucker which is great. Just please don't take my hour.

Tucker is the man. I started working out with him 6 years ago and in that time he's completely transformed my body, making me stronger and leaner while simultaneously helping me overcome chronic knee and shoulder issues. I meet him 5 times a week and he's always challenging me in new ways, getting me more defined. Good luck getting a session scheduled with him. His schedule is always packed with clients but it's worth the wait.
